PEN CAMERA DVR GUIDE
**Before recording: Charge pen to usb
power adapter given
minimum 2hrs charge**
Video Recording (How to turn on/off/record):
Twist 2pc pen cam together.
To turn ON::Press down for 3-second on
top button of pen then release finger (recording
button) Light will turn On “Solid
Red” = camera is ON.
To start RECORDING:: press down for 1-second,
then wait for 30second, light will be slowly
blinking in “Yellow/Green” =
camera is on RECORDING mode.
To stop recording/off:: Press down for
3-second again on top button of pen then
release finger Light will turn Off showing “Black
color” = camera is OFF.
Video NOTE::
Pen can use other type of media player,
such as quicktime, etc…But we have
provided a VLC media Player CD just in
case you don’t have any compatible
media player. Please download the CD
to your computer. Take out CD once download
is complete and put away for safe keeping.
Now plug Pen directly to USB port on your
computer ( USB cable given might not be
necessary to use). Your computer should
Auto detect your USB Pen camera when plug
directly in to usb port on your commputer.
(Remember different computer Auto detect
differently. Some computer USB drive could
be G: drive, other H: drive, etc….Each
computer is different. Your computer should
auto detect the USB drive you are using.
Begin looking for your folder
Open the usb drive directory (you should
see a folder name “DCIM”)
Double click on the DCIM folder
Double click on any of the video-file you
have save and a media window(your computer
uses) should open then press Play

Opening Video with VLC Media Player software
Open Software [ VLC MEDIA PLAYER] program
Once program menu open, click on “Media”
Then click “Advanced Open File”
Under “File” select the “My
Computer”, then select the Drive
your USB pen is on (again can be G: , H:
etc…) open the correct Drive. Once
open the correct drive there is a folder
call “DCIM”
Open DCIM folder then open folder name “100MEDIA”
Under file names, is Filter, select arrow
down to [All Files(*.*)]
List of videos should be listed example
[Icon0001.3gp], pick one and PLAY
**You can play around with the program
or your computer, and convert to other
video format as well. Again different computer
works differently. And other media software
might works better for others as well too.
