It utilizes a 1/3" Sony HAD CCD chipset. Automatic Gain Control (AGC) feature to allow this camera to get brighter quality pictures in lower lit conditions. For situations in which the environment offers too much lighting, this camera also offer the Auto White Balance and the Back Light Compensation (BLC) features to counteract the potentially overwhelming brightness in lighting. Combined with its Auto White Balance capability, the on/off option for the AGC and the BLC features allows for picture quality with minimal flickering.
