This is a detector for wireless video. Because video surveillance is becoming more common, you need to be able to detect that type of privacy invasion. This video detector can help you quickly determine if hidden surveillance cameras are being used in any room. Video cameras radiate a signal that can be picked up by this detector internal directional antenna. When a video camera is detected, the red LED on this detctor glows brightly. By using the Sensitivity control along with the directional antenna, you can quickly pinpoint the camera's location. Our tests with various cameras have shown a detection range that varies from 3 feet to 12 feet, depending on the type of camera.
